FC Helsingør has sold midfielder Patrick Olsen to Superliga club AaB

Chief scout Brian Gellert is pleased with the deal:
– It’s been the plan all along to sell Patrick on in this transfer window. That was one of the reasons we brought in Daniel Norouzi for the central midfield. Nikolaj Hansen can also play on the defensive mid.
Patrick has been at the club for two years and worn the shirt with the highest degree of professionalism. I don’t think he has missed one training pass in two years and his professionalism has set an example for the rest of the squad.

– Our original plan with Patrick was to let him play a lot of football and sell him on when it made sense to both him and us. We are proud to sell Patrick to one of Denmarks biggest clubs, not just for him but also for us as a club.

We are not going to comment on the details of the sale, but suffice to say that we are very happy with the agreement we’ve made with Aalborg.

Patrick Olsen joined FC Helsingør in 2017 and played 61 matches, scoring three goals.
